Occupational Therapist Position

TRAIL Kids is a well established Early Childhood Services Provider located in south Calgary. Our program identifies, designs and implements programs for preschool children with exceptionalities. The children that we work with have a wide range of challenges that may include fine and gross motor delays, vestibular challenges, sensory challenges, communication challenges and emotional dysregulation.

TRAIL Kids is seeking an energetic, passionate and creative Occupational Therapist to join our Multidisciplinary Team. The Occupational Therapist will provide a balance of intervention, consultation, education and program planning to support children and the multidisciplinary team.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Screen and assess preschool age children

• Collaborating with our team to develop individualized program plans (IPPs)

• Apply clinical expertise and professional competence in managing case loads, programming, consultation, meetings, and documentation

• Provide ongoing training, coaching and support to parents, preschool teachers and staff

Qualifications

• Masters in Occupational Therapy

• Active ACOT Registration

• First Aid Certificate

• Criminal reference check with vulnerable sector search
