Interoception Part 2, "Mighty Munchers", and Job Posting
Coming in May!
Learning will focus on application of previously covered interoception science and strategies with a variety of clients. Part of this course will focus on the grading and adaptation of interoception strategies for use with specific populations including preschoolers and non- speaking clients. We will use these case studies to walk through common considerations and nuances of the interoception intervention process.
Learning Objectives:

Identify and adapt at least two interoception strategies for supporting clients that are very young and/or have complex communication needs;
Describe two clinical reasoning nuances or considerations that can be used to guide clients in their interoception journey.

Mighty Munchers is for children that are often labelled as picky eaters.
This group will be appropriate for children between the ages of 3-7 years old who are selective eaters and whose parents are looking for some support in the areas of mealtimes and expanding their child's food repertoire. There is some flexibility with the age range depending on where the child is developmentally.
The cost of the feeding group may covered through FSCD or through some insurance plans.
Our poster is attached. If you have any families that would benefit please pass along the information!
