Introducing ChatOT
In my 25+ years as an OT, I have learned the value of connecting parents, sharing resources, and expanding and empowering family capacity to support children. The goal of ChatOT is to provide OT support for families who are waiting for services or for those who would like to connect over common parenting challenges, especially for children with diagnoses.
Though I am based out of Calgary, I am offering small group conversations with parents about toileting, selective eating, and sleep via MS Teams. This allows access for parents across Alberta to receive timely suggestions to use in their homes. The current times available for the sessions are linked on the website and are not set in stone. If parents have a preferred time, I would encourage them to email me. I will do my best to accommodate, provided a minimum of three and a maximum of five families are interested.
This is a private-pay service for parents to access with a receipt provided after e-transfer to enable them to seek reimbursement from their insurance provider.
